Review by hotel critic
At Broome Farm, my culinary journey began with a warm welcome from Hilary. The apartment we stayed in had stunning views, perfect for birdwatching during quiet moments. Each day started with a hearty breakfast featuring local produce, including homemade jams and butter. One standout dish was the full English breakfast; generous portions kept us fueled for the day. We took a leisurely stroll through the orchard to the on-site pub, where we enjoyed the farm's cider-a delightful treat! Fishing at the carp lake was another highlight, allowing us to relax while enjoying the countryside. Hilary truly catered to our needs, from ensuring we had everything we required to simply making our stay feel like a home away from home. There's plenty to explore nearby, making Broome Farm a great base for a food-focused getaway.
